Join us for orientation to SURJ Northland.

The first step to joining SURJ Northland is attending an orientation.

During orientation we:

• Begin with a land acknowledgement

• Go through a somatic grounding practice

• Review the SURJ Values and Theory of Change

• Take time to build relationships and learn about why we are all here

• Go over SURJ Northland’s structure

• Highlight our teams and how to get involved

• Close with a song

At the end, we offer the option to spend some time in breakout rooms with members of the individual teams to continue to build relationships and ask more questions.

We will hold orientations over Zoom until it is safe to do otherwise. The Zoom meeting link and other prep info will be email to you the week of and day before the orientation date.
